This position is remote (along with all of our BenchPrep positions).

About the role:

As the Revenue Growth Manager, you’ll have the primary responsibility of partnering with the rest of the Customer Success and Customer Marketing teams to work across our existing customer base to identify growth opportunities and to create and operationalize an action plan to expand their relationship with BenchPrep. This role is a unique blend of Customer Success and Sales and is part of an exciting product-driven organization, providing exposure to marquee partners that have long-standing relationships with BenchPrep.

The key components of the work you’ll be doing in this role are:

  • Work closely with assigned CSMs to identify opportunities, perform outreach, expand relationships, and lead expansion Initiatives.
  • Define and justify upsell (cross sell) potential in our existing customer portfolio in 2023 and beyond.
  • Identify areas for customer growth, including additional use cases for BenchPrep and new business units with revenue potential
  • Identify expansion challenges and advocate for change to remove blockers for growth
  • Design sales and marketing strategies for existing customers and growth areas, leveraging an in-depth understanding of market needs, expectations, and trends, as well as internal product and service offerings.
  • Working cross functionality with our delivery teams (Professional Services, Product, and Technology) to inform them of growth opportunities and value propositions.
  • Strategic/Consultative Selling: Our prospects and customers look at us as advisors on their learning platforms. You’ll be expected to navigate an org chart like none other and find the various decision makers and change your selling approach accordingly.

**Skills and experiences we value:

  • 7+ years of Customer Success, Account Management/Sales, or Consulting experience in a SaaS environment, EdTech experience is a plus!
  • Experience working with Enterprise level sales ($100K and above) in matrixed organizations where decision making is distributed and proven experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles and selling into Associations or similar organization types where Board approval is part of the buying process.
  • You are a self-starter who is comfortable navigating a high-degree of ambiguity and charting your own path to meet goals.
  • Embrace a team-first mentality
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Be organized and detail oriented with an ability to manage complex projects
  • Be customer centric and have a problem solving mindset
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude

At BenchPrep, we pride ourselves on offering a great total rewards package to each employee, including medical and ancillary benefits, potential for yearly bonus, stipends for work-from-home expenses, flexible paid time off (our version of unlimited PTO), annual professional development stipend dollars, and of course, a competitive base salary. The salary range for this position is between $100,000 & $130,000 + variable commission plan, and is set based on Chicago market data. Please note this refers to the amount BenchPrep is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
