Senior GRC Advisory Manager

LogicGate

LogicGate

Remote · United States
Posted on Friday, April 21, 2023

LogicGate was founded with a rebellious spirit and lofty objective: to build a modern risk management platform that helps our customers grow by transforming business risks into opportunities. Since our founding in 2015, we've secured more than $156M in four funding series to help us grow into the company we are today, but we're not done yet. LogicGate continues to push to lead the GRC category with our flexible and no-code risk management solution.

We are an outcomes-first company. Our success comes from our high-performing teams, so we give you flexibility to work from where you are. You’ll have the option to be fully remote, work from our headquarters in Chicago, or hybrid, unless the role has specific requirements.

Risk is a team sport, and the strongest teams are made up of diverse talent. We’ve worked hard to create an environment where everyone feels safe bringing their most authentic self to work. We are committed to fostering and maintaining an inclusive work environment where all employees’ views and backgrounds are celebrated, their thoughts matter and everyone feels safe to bring their authentic selves to work.

Our Company core values of Be as One, Do the Right Thing, Embrace Curiosity, Own It, Empower Customers, and Raise the Bar guide everything we do - with our customers, our employees, and all we interact with.

We are proud to have been included as a top workplace by Built In, Crain’s Chicago Business, and the Chicago Tribune.

About the Role

To enable deeper relationships and uncover new opportunities with our customers, LogicGate is establishing a new internal GRC subject matter expert team within our Customer Success organization. As part of this team, you will engage with our customers via GRC Maturity Workshops to advise on best practices and define their GRC journey, ultimately driving greater retention and expansion with our customers.

How you'll spend your time:

  • Support the development and ongoing continuous improvement of LogicGate’s GRC Maturity Workshop offering, including the development of consulting methodologies, deliverable templates, and accelerators
  • Deliver 2-4 GRC Maturity Workshops each month, either in-person or remotely
  • Support the operational management of the GRC Maturity Workshop program, including capacity management, expense management, and pipeline management in partnership with customer account teams and Customer Marketing
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements, and best practices, as well as help to define new best practices and articulate LogicGate’s point-of-view as a GRC SaaS solution and service provider
  • Author thought leadership content (e.g., blogs, whitepapers) for LogicGate to share and drive engagement in the GRC community, both via our customer community portal, Risk Crowd, as well as in the industry at-large (e.g., social channels, webinars, conferences)
  • Gain a deep understanding of the LogicGate customer journey to help identify and develop additional services offerings that can help solve key customer challenges and elevate the overall customer experience
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of LogicGate’s Risk Cloud platform in order to align solution recommendations and GRC best practices with Risk Cloud capabilities and product vision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) to inform and influence LogicGate’s product roadmap, market message, team GRC enablement, value realization framework, customer talk tracks, etc.

We get excited about you if you have:

  • 5+ years experience in GRC or risk advisory working with customers in multiple industries and geographies
  • Passion for and experience with facilitating challenging, vulnerable conversations with customers both in-person and remotely, with the flexibility to travel up to 4 times per month, if required

  • Mastery of risk management principles and associated methodologies, as well as experience with cybersecurity and risk management control frameworks, regulations, standards, laws and other industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, FedRAMP)
  • CISSP, CISA or CISM qualification preferred

Excited about LogicGate but not familiar with GRC? That’s ok — a lot of us weren’t familiar with GRC when we started, too. Unless the job description specifically requires previous GRC familiarity, here’s what you need to know:

  • GRC stands for Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • GRC professionals help their companies manage uncertainty, act with integrity, and stay on the right side of the law.
  • GRC is a huge market and growing fast. It’s a $35 billion industry today, and predicted to grow to $64 billion by 2025. A lot of opportunity!
