As a Senior Technical Writer, you will own the end-to-end documentation for a specialized area of the SentinelOne platform, serving as the primary subject-matter expert to ensure absolute clarity and accuracy for both internal and external users. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to research, plan, and author customer-focused guidance for our cutting-edge cybersecurity and AI-driven capabilities. By leveraging AI tools to enhance content quality and usability, you will contribute to the Knowledge Base and other mission-critical deliverables, ensuring a consistent and world-class documentation experience across the entire platform.

What will you do?

• Support and collaborate with the product team, focusing on innovative cybersecurity solutions.
• Own documentation for one or more product areas in the SentinelOne platform, while becoming knowledgeable in many areas. Documentation includes Release Notes, Admin Guides, Knowledge Base articles, and UI text.
• Plan, research, and document features in a topic-based method. Research includes collaboration with Support, Development, QA, Product Management, and other teams, with a focus on self-learning through hands-on and independent study.
• Write according to our style guidelines to create customer-focused guidance for our highly-technical cybersecurity and AI products.
• Work with the product documentation team to create integrated, consistent information deliverables and to innovate for constant improvement.
• Work with a dynamic, international team on high-impact deliverables.
  
  

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

• 5+ years of professional experience as a technical writer.
• Ability to learn quickly about technical subjects and apply knowledge to your work.
• Ability to work well independently and as a team, with strong problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of technical writing methodologies and tooling.
• Careful attention to detail while also seeing the big picture. You ask good questions, identify ambiguities or gaps, and propose concrete documentation or product improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable you to get the information you need and communicate it clearly.
• Experience creating documentation for cybersecurity, AI, or other highly technical subjects.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with frequent releases
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field.
