Your mission

Watson team is working on the development of an internal system for centralized infrastructure monitoring – the Dashboard.
Ultimately, the team's work impacts the ease of use, monitoring capabilities, and interaction with the company's internal services for employees.The platform manages, observes, and monitors critical TradingView services. Our products help ensure stable and efficient releases and day-to-day operations across many physical locations for millions of users.

The right candidate should understand distributed and reliable software development and be familiar with both synchronous and asynchronous communication methods, containers, and databases (SQL/NoSQL), different communication protocols.

Your main duties will be to collaborate with stakeholders (often technical specialists) to clarify needs, propose solutions, and choose suitable technologies. You will also lead the team by converting business requirements into technical tasks, picking the right architecture, reviewing code, and ensuring quality.

We are open to hiring either a Tech Lead or a Team Lead for this position. As a Tech Lead, you would be responsible for all the technical aspects described above. As a Team Lead, you would also manage team members, ensure their professional growth, hold one-on-one discussions, and promote a healthy work-life balance.

What will you do:

• Validate incoming feature requests, translate them into specific technical and product requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Collaboration with other development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of features
• Collaborate with the project manager to align technical development with product goals and timelines
• Actively participate in recruitment processes, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Overseeing the design and development of backend and frontend components with a focus on architectural integrity and team collaboration
• Conduct code-reviews
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing mentoring and development support for team members
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployments and efficient CI/CD pipelines.

What you bring:

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack or backend development
• 2+ years of experience in as a TechLead or a TeamLead (motivating, guiding, architecturing, and mentoring)
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working with various departments
• Familiarity with distributed systems design patterns, different protocols
• Understanding of software development cycles
• Problem-solving and prioritization abilities with attention to detail
• Strong backend development skills in a modern OOP language (Golang preferred)
• Moderate frontend knowledge (JavaScript, TypeScript, React beneficial, No need to know everything upfront; willingness to learn is crucial.)
• CI/CD and DevOps familiarity (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
• API design and microservices architecture experience
• Agile (Scrum) experience
• English at least B2 level

It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:

• Golang, React, MongoDb, Typescript
• Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
• Knowledge of TradingView 😁
