About the Role
As as Senior Engineer, you've probably seen a lot and done a lot, we believe all of that will make our product better. Full stack software development will be your primary function, this meas that you will be able to architect, plan and implement a feature completely owning the process until it's live! You will also be expected to mentor more junior members of the team, passing on some of your experience and style. You'll participate in code reviews and you'll advise on design and strategy for the whole product.
The Tech Stack
Our applications use React, Apollo Client on the front end and Nodejs, graphql, Mysql, redis and elastic search which are split across multiple services. All of this lives in mono repo with "turn key" docker powered development environment allowing you as a developer to focus on what matters. Everything packed in a next generation PWA (Progressive Web Application) running in kiosk mode on Google Chrome OS devices, making us one of the first Google partners to build PWA's for the new ChromeOS web API's.
Some Example Projects
Streaming pay per view sport events in commercial venues through our PWA POS integrations with multiple providers to gather sales insights
Real time curation of User Generated Content into tv like channels
Content scheduling a programing for multi region setups
About You
- You are a strong engineer who enjoys team work
- You care about your code and take pride in it being readable, maintainable and elegant
- You are always open to feedback and looking for opportunities to learn and grow You love helping others out and sharing your knowledge
- You have been programming for at least 4 years and you have been programming in JavaScript for at least 2 years
- You always have the user in mind
- You see challenges as opportunities
- You can fluently communicate in English both spoken and written
Nices to Have
- Strong knowledge of React
- Experience with Graphql
