About the role
The Director of Sales Enablement is a crucial role focused on equipping the sales team with the tools, resources, and training they need to succeed. Reporting to the CSO, this role involves developing and implementing effective sales training programs, creating sales enablement materials, and ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and product teams. The Director of Sales Enablement will play a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process, driving pipeline growth, and enhancing overall sales performance.
About your team
You will be joining a hardworking, driven sales team that is in a unique growth phase. This role offers the chance to actively contribute to the build-out and success of a dynamic and evolving team, motivated to win and excel.
What You’ll Do:
Within 2 months, you will:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing sales processes and training programs.
- Establish rapport with sales team members and identify specific training needs.
- Create and implement initial sales training modules focused on high-impact areas.
- Develop and distribute essential sales enablement materials, such as playbooks and cheat sheets.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Engineering rep to ensure technical training and demo environment stability.
Within 4 months, you will:
- Refine and expand the sales training programs to cover all aspects of the sales process.
- Implement a system for ongoing training and professional development.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Enhance internal communication to ensure alignment on messaging and strategies.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Ensure the sales team consistently meets or exceeds their targets through effective enablement strategies.
- Develop advanced training programs for market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Maintain a library of up-to-date sales enablement materials.
- Lead initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to sales team members, supporting their professional growth.
