Enterprise Account Manager
Workera
We are only able to hire US based candidates for this role, preferably in Central or Eastern timezones.
About the role
As a Lead Account Manager at Workera, you’ll play a key role in expanding and deepening our partnerships with enterprise clients. This is a strategic, quota-carrying role responsible for driving measurable revenue growth across a defined portfolio of accounts. You’ll lead executive-level engagements, identify whitespace opportunities, and build long-term relationships grounded in trust, outcomes, and innovation.
You’ll be instrumental in Workera’s next phase of growth, helping shape a scalable and repeatable account management model that delivers consistent expansion and retention results. Success in this role means not only meeting your numbers, but also helping customers accelerate their workforce transformation through skills intelligence and AI-driven talent development.
About your team
You’ll be part of Workera’s Sales organization, reporting to a senior leader who oversees strategic growth. You’ll work closely with other Account Managers, Skills Strategists, RevOps, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
This team is focused on driving strategic sustainable, data-informed growth — blending discipline, collaboration, and creativity to expand Workera’s footprint with new and existing customers.
What You’ll Do
Within 3 months, you will:
- Complete Workera’s onboarding and product enablement program.
- Develop deep familiarity with your account portfolio — mapping org charts, key stakeholders, renewal calendars, and whitespace opportunities.
- Partner with Skills Strategists to assess account health, adoption, and baseline performance metrics.
- Begin executing structured QBRs with key accounts using Workera’s discovery playbook.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Build and manage a measurable expansion pipeline across your portfolio (targeting 20–25% expansion quota).
- Partner with Marketing on account-based campaigns and collaborate with RevOps for accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Create repeatable discovery and engagement motions for Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts (both digital and in-person).
- Strengthen executive relationships to uncover multi-department and multi-region growth opportunities.
Within 9 months, you will:
- Consistently achieve renewal and expansion targets across your account portfolio.
- Demonstrate measurable growth results and improved portfolio health scores.
- Contribute to playbook and process refinements that enhance scalable, repeatable growth across the sales organization.
- Serve as a mentor and thought partner to peers as Workera continues to scale.
*Please note as we are a dynamic and quickly growing scale-up, things are always subject to change*
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise account management, SaaS renewals, or strategic expansion roles.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding renewal and expansion targets in a high-growth or scaling environment.
- Strong account planning and forecasting skills, with proficiency in Salesforce and tools like Vitally.
- Confidence leading executive-level QBRs, running structured discovery, and identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- A consultative, customer-first mindset, with proven collaboration across Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate skills intelligence and workforce development solutions into measurable business impact.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT or equivalent digital assistants, applying them effectively within your work context.
